MEETING DATES & TIMES
The Lower Mount Bethel Township Planning Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Centerfield Building located at 6984 S. Delaware Drive.
AGENDA POLICY
All submissions to the Planning Commission are required to be in the Township office at least 30 days prior to the meeting. All submissions must include 16 sets of plans, planning commission submission fee, escrow fee, completed SALDO application form.
SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
All applications for lot line adjustment, land development plans, site plans, minor and major subdivision must be submitted to the Township office and must include the following materials: 16 sets of plans, escrow agreement, a completed SALDO application, and the appropriate fees.
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND OFFICIAL MAP
The Township is currently in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan in partnership with the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, Slate Belt Rising and the nine other slate belt municipalities. The purpose of the Slate Belt Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan is to enable the boroughs of Bangor, East Bangor, Pen Argyl, Roseto, Portland and Wind Gap and the Townships of Plainfield, Washington, Lower Mount Bethel and Upper Mount Bethel, to shape their collective vision for the future. The plan is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2023. For additional information, please see the following link:

OPEN SPACE PLAN
The Open Space Plan is "designed to help the township and the residents begin the process of preserving the township's outstanding natural features by focusing its effort on the properties that contain the features that the community feels provide Lower Mount Bethel Township with its special sense of place."
